Making these has got to be one of my favorite hobbies. I get to listen to hours and hours of awesome (and some not-so-awesome) music and then arrange them in a way that moves me.
Then I listen the hell out of these mixes…and the mixes themselves become ingrained into a particular time of my life. “Drink Wine, Get Naked”, for example, reminds me of a trip I took with The Cloth Sea to Milwaukee to see a band that sounded MUCH better on record than in person.
That mix always brings me back….just like Pearl Jam’s “Ten” drops me smack dab back in high school. Freshman-Sophomore year, to be exact (and to date me a bit).
It’s better to have a little of everything…than a lot of so very little.
