What We Lost

Ten years ago I was duped into believing that war was sometimes necessary. And when I say I was duped, I was DUPED. Completely lied to and I ate it up. I took a very unpopular position among my peers and argued for it strongly.

I was wrong. I was lost.

4,486 US SOLDIERS lost dead.
100-150 THOUSAND Iraqi’s lost dead.

It’s been ten years, and it seems like we’re just as lost now as we were then.
It’s sad, really.

“There’s an old saying in Tennessee — I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.” – President George W. Bush
