RIP, Philip Seymour Hoffman.

What a dammed tragedy, the passing of this GIANT of an actor.
Only 46 years old, and he’d amassed an amazing body of work.

Here are my favorite of his roles:

Nobody’s Fool – Office Raymer

Twister – Dustin Davis

Boogie Nights – Scotty J

The Big Lebowski – Brandt

The Talented Mr. Ripley – Freddie Miles

Almost Famous – Lester Bangs

Cold Mountain – Reverend Veasey

Capote – Truman Capote

Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead – Andy

Charlie Wilson’s War – Gust Avrakotos

Synecdoche, New York – Caden Cotard

Doubt – Father Brendan Flynn

The Master – Lancaster Dodd

He was one of my absolute favorite actors, as I could always count on him to blow me away with his commanding performances. I’m REALLY going to miss this guy. RIP, Philip Seymour Hoffman. RIP.
